I've been messing with this since yesterday, and have reloaded the audio driver for the AudioFire 8 card. It eventually crashed Logic, which indicated there was a problem with the EZDrummer plugin. After the install, it caused my Echoaudio AudioFire 8 soundcard to sound very weird like the sound was distorted and weak. I followed the install instructions from the Toontrack site which included downloaded the lasted version of the EZDrummer.
Up until I installed Toontrack Funkmasters EZX two days ago, I haven't had any problems with Logic crashing even when using the other Toontrack soundsets. I'm running Logic Pro 8.0.2 on Mac OSX 10.5.8.
